Cookie policy

What this website stores on your device, what it is for and how long it lasts. Issued in accordance with the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools adopted by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) on 10 June 2021.

In short

This website does not use profiling cookies and does not track you across other websites. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no Tag Manager and no advertising.

The only storage in use is technical: it is needed for the site to work and to remember your choices. The law does not require consent for technical storage of this kind, and accordingly we do not ask for it.

The one thing we do ask your permission for is the Google map in the contact panel, which is provided by Google and sets Google’s own cookies. Until you consent, it is not loaded.

The first three are not cookies in the strict sense but browser storage: they remain on your device and are never transmitted to us. We list them nonetheless, because what matters under the law is what is stored on your device, not what it is called.

Visitor statistics

We count how many people visit the site, which pages they view and where they come from. The tool we use does not set cookies, does not retain your IP address and does not allow you to be recognised from one day to the next or from one website to another: the data is aggregated, and the temporary identifier is deleted every twenty-four hours.

This is why we do not ask for your consent: with no cookies and no personal data, there is nothing to authorise. We know that twenty people opened the season pass page, not who you are.

Alongside that tool the website keeps a count of its own, again without cookies: for each page it records which page it is, which website you came from, your browser language, the size of your screen, how long you stay, how far you scroll and which buttons you press. Your IP address is not stored; only the country is kept. The only link between two pages of the same visit is the technical belmont-visita entry in the table above, which is deleted when the tab is closed.

Changing your mind

Consent to the Google map is given by pressing the button shown in its place in the contact panel, and only then. If you prefer not to consent, the same panel offers a link that opens the route directly on Google Maps in a new tab.

To withdraw consent, clear this website’s data from your browser settings, under site data. The site will continue to work: you will only lose the record of your choice, and the map will ask you again. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — as the law requires.
