Privacy policy

The data controller is Belmont Foppolo S.r.l., with its registered office at Piazzale degli Alberghi 15/D, 24010 Foppolo (BG), VAT number 04213860168.

For any matter concerning your personal data you can write to info@belmont-alpidibergamo.it. We reply within one month, as required by Article 12 of the Regulation.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer: we do not fall within the cases in which the law requires one.

When you buy a ski pass. We collect your first name, surname, email address, billing address and Italian tax code (codice fiscale). They are needed to issue the pass and the invoice, and to give you access to the lifts: without them the purchase cannot be completed. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and, for the invoice, compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

When you write to us. We keep your address and the content of your message for as long as it takes to reply and to follow up on your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to those who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).

For the newsletter. We use your name and email address to send you news about the season, openings, new lifts and ski pass offers. Where you have given us your consent, the legal basis is that consent (Article 6(1)(a)). If you are already a customer, we may write to you about services similar to those you have purchased, as permitted by Article 130(4) of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) — and every email contains a link to stop receiving them.

When you visit the website. The website does not use profiling cookies and there are no advertising tracking tools. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no Tag Manager. Our hosting provider records technical access data — time of the request, page, browser type — to keep the service running and to protect it from abuse. Visitor statistics are collected without cookies and in aggregate form, without retaining your IP address: they are described in the cookie policy.

The only cookie we ask you about. The contact panel contains a Google map showing the route from Bergamo to Foppolo. That map is provided by Google and, as soon as it appears, sets Google’s own cookies on your device: for this reason it is not loaded until you allow it. In its place you will find a box with a button to show the map, and a link that opens the route directly on Google Maps if you prefer not to consent. The rest of the site works identically either way.

Your answer is stored on your device for six months and is never transmitted to us. You can withdraw it at any time by clearing this website’s data from your browser settings: the map will then ask you again.

What is stored without asking. For the duration of your visit, the site remembers that you have already watched the opening film — so that it is not shown again on every page. This is technical storage: it stays in your browser, is deleted when the tab is closed and cannot be used to identify you. The piste map uses MapTiler’s cartography, which does not profile those who view it; the typefaces are served by this website and not by Google.

Purchase data is retained for ten years: this is the retention period that Italian tax law imposes for accounting records.

Newsletter addresses are kept for as long as you wish to receive it. When you unsubscribe we remove them from our lists, keeping only the address on a suppression list — so that we do not write to you again by mistake.

The messages you send us are kept for two years from the last exchange.

Nobody buys your data from us, and we do not sell it to anyone.

It is processed on our behalf, by data processors appointed under Article 28, by the suppliers we need in order to operate: the ski pass sales platform, the payment provider, the company hosting this website and the one delivering our emails. Their servers are located within the European Union. Our accountant has access to it for tax compliance purposes.

We do not transfer data outside the European Union, we do not carry out profiling and we do not take automated decisions about you.

You can ask us for access to the data we hold about you, to rectify it if it is inaccurate, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a format readable by another service (data portability), and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. These are the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation.

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time: this does not affect the lawfulness of what we did before, but from then on we stop.

Simply write to info@belmont-alpidibergamo.it. For the newsletter alone, use the link at the bottom of every message: it is the quickest way.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

We publish it here with the date of the last revision. If anything substantial changes in the way we process your data, we will tell you beforehand — you will not find out by reading this page.
